Our Changing Landscape Unit – Grade 2

Students explored how their community’s landscape has changed over time, built a learning wall to track discoveries, and wrote letters to their principal proposing real campus improvements.

Our State and Region Unit – Grade 4

After studying California’s regions, students shared their understanding through displays and discussions—all in Spanish—connecting geography to their lives and communities.

Civic Engagement Unit – Grade 1

After reading Carl the Complainer and learning about the ADA, students started a petition to make the playground more accessible, showing that even first graders can advocate for change.
